SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST

He was born in 1983, in Tălmaciu, Romania. In 2006, he graduated from the Art and Design University of Cluj- Napoca, specializing in Painting. In 2008, he studied at the Academia di Belle Arti in Bari, Italy, with an Erasmus grant. In 2013, he earned his doctorate at the Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca, under the supervision of Professor Ioan Sbârciu, with the thesis “Art and War”. Currently, he is an expert in painting restoration at the Restoration and Conservation Laboratories of the Brukenthal National Museum in Sibiu. In 2015, he participated in the 10th edition of the International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence, where he earned fourth place in the “Textiles” category, and was awarded the “Lorenzo il Magnifico” prize.
