SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Katerina Pyatakova was born in 1977 in Kiev, Ukraine. Katerina began her career in economics. She has two high economic educations. But she realized that the company she had been working at was never going to allow her to reach her potential. Her desire to create art won and her next step was Diploma of excellence in the School of Architecture Design. Now Katerina Pyatakova is a Member of Union of Artists of Ukraine and a Journeyer member of Pastel Guild of Europe. Katerina has a lot of art exhibitions and awards. Katerina Pyatakova works as teacher of Art - volunteer with special needs children and young people in the Centre of Social and Psychological rehabilitation for children and youth with special needs. She is an author of more than 100 lessons of art and art history for children. Creativity is an integral part of Katerina’s life, finding creative inspiration in the beauty of the world around us, in the search for the reflection of feelings and emotions in the phenomena of nature.
