E' un lavoro sulla teoria e percezione della forma.
La costruzione dell'immagine è basata sulla ripetizione dello stesso scatto, restituendo una percezione d'irrealtà del reale.
Il punto di vista dall'alto, di un ritaglio di realtà, ripetuto su ciascuno dei quattro lati della stessa immagine, cambia la nostra percezione e, quindi, la direzione del pensiero, facendoci entrare in una sorta di vortice, quasi surreale.
La foto non è stata elaborata in post, ma solo moltiplicata ed assemblata e stampata su pvc, conservando gli angoli originali.
It's a work on the theory and perception of form.
The image's construction, is based on the repetition of the same shot, returning a perception of the unreal of the real.
The point of view from above, a cut of reality, repeats itself on each of the four sides of the same image, it changes our perception and, therefore, the direction of thought, making us into a whirlwind, almost surreal.
The photo was not processed in post production but only assembled and printed on pvc, keeping the original corners.
SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
I was born in Viterbo,on April 5, 1970.
The words that tell me best are: Space, Photography and Glass.
The space is part of my own training at the Academy of Milan, but also in the art scene, graduated with lode in 2011 in the scenography, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia.
Experimentation and research, especially in the glass world in contemporary art, join my old passion for photography.
